It's best to get advice regarding housing before you get released from prison, as soon as you know roughly when you're getting released.

- Advice on your current tenancy while you're in prison

- Referring you to your council or hostels if you need somewhere to stay

If you are or are likely to become homeless, you should contact your local Council as soon as possible. You do not need to wait until you have nowhere to stay.
